What to expect
Tourists will be warmly welcomed at Kigali International
Airport and escorted to their accommodation in the vibrant
city of Kigali or nearby Volcanoes National Park.
The day before the trek, tourists will attend a briefing
by experienced guides. They will learn about the gorilla
trekking rules, safety guidelines, and the importance of
conserving these endangered creatures.
At the break of dawn, the real adventure begins as
tourists venture into Volcanoes National Park, led by
expert trackers and guides. The trek can last anywhere
from one to six hours, depending on the gorilla family's
location.
Once the gorilla family is located, tourists will have an
